Since the discovery of the Philippines, Galleons were used to barter and transport goods.Through this system,it also brought about different cultures that influenced the current practices of Cebuano such as promoting craftsmanship and utilizing their resources.
This historical background inspired the design of BAWOD (Waves). The Project is a 200sqm co working space situated in SRP, Cebu City which promotes sustainability and caters to students, young professionals,freelancers, and tourists having business transactions.
PERSEPCTIVES
THOUGHT PROCESS

Following the concept of a galleon, the space does not only promote interaction
while working, but also create a dynamic relationship between the users and the space
through sustainable design; efficiency in space planning configurations of furniture pieces; and the exchange of ideas that strengthens the identity of the space.
